Alternative route through Sierra de la Demanda and round Reservoir Uzquiza – 43 miles
There were no campsites or aires along the Camino between Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Burgos, so we did a bit of a detour into the mountains where we found an aire opposite a bar where we stayed for two nights and cycled around.
